Not only for its waters, but also for the little villages that line the coast.<\/p>\n<p>The first place to visit is the village of Altafulla. We highlight from it the <strong>Castillo de Altafulla<\/strong>, Renaissance style. Nowadays it is perfectly preserved and it is privately owned, although you can visit one of the entrances and the parade ground. Just 10 minutes\u2019 drive from Altafulla is Tamarit, another of the most visited villages of Tarragona. From it, we highlight <strong>Cala Jovera<\/strong>, a small but paradisiacal cove overlooking the Castillo de Tamarit. Very close to it, it is our last recommendation of this route: <strong>Cala Fonda<\/strong>, also known as <strong>Cala Waikiki<\/strong>. Two of the monasteries on our route are part of the <strong>Ruta del C\u00edster<\/strong>, which links three Cistercian monasteries.<\/p>\n<p>The first place that you have to visit is the <strong>Real Monasterio de Santes Creus<\/strong>, in Aiguamurcia (Santes Creus). It was built in 1158, not only Cistercian but also Romanesque style and currently there is no monastic life in it. Once you finish the visit, you can stop by a market with local products and crafts that is set up around the monastery. The second place is the medieval village of <strong>Montblanc<\/strong>, whose old town was declared as a Monumental and Artistic Site in 1947. Montblanc is known for its great medieval festival held in April, in memory of Sant Jordi. Legend tells that the knight killed the dragon in front of the town walls. The last enclave of the route is the <strong>Real<\/strong> <strong>Monasterio de Santa Mar\u00eda de Poblet<\/strong>, the largest of the Cistercian Route. The natural areas we have selected are part of the villages of <strong>Prades<\/strong> and <strong>Siurana<\/strong>, very close to each other.<\/p>\n<p>On the one hand, in the Monta\u00f1as de Prades we recommend the <strong>Ermita de la Abellera<\/strong>. A hermitage located in the middle of the mountain and built into the rock of the mountain itself. Half an hour away by car, there is the <strong>Gorg de la Febr\u00f3<\/strong>. A set of routes of waterfalls and pools ideal for lovers of hiking and adventure. On the other hand, in the small village of Siurana we highlight its <strong>Mirador<\/strong> from which you can see the emblematic <strong>Embalse de Siurana<\/strong>.
