It is not that. So long as you know that when you are booking, you will probably be happy. Pros • Clean hotel. • Lovely large family room with 2 AC units. • Buffet food quality is good with some variety. • Small but nice pool • Small gym • Enforced removal of towels from unused sun loungers (30 mins). Cons • 11am > 11pm all inclusive. If you want a drink, even water late at night, you are on your own. • All inclusive offering is a small sub set of the menu, smaller burgers, a couple of drinks etc. • We had an issue with grumpy house keeping and a general lack of smiles by waiters. • Limited entertainment at 9:30 each night. During our stay one of the nights just didn’t happen without any explanation. • You have to pay for the safe, I have never come across this before. We locked everything in our cases. • No iron in the room, you have to pay for your clothes to be taken away and brought back to you. We bought an Iron ourselves. That was not very 4 star! In summary, I wouldn’t recommend this as an all-inclusive hotel, but as half board or B&B it probably makes sense. I'd actually recommend that they drop that offering, it makes much more sense as a place to stay on a B&B or half board basis. There are lots of places to eat and drink locally, plenty of options in the hotel (so long as your are paying) and our room was great.

The following was noted. bathroom old fittings... read more with chrome worn You Pay for your safe You Pay for water at evening meal - strange but not at breakfast Also pay for drinks (acceptable) Pay for pool towels or bring your own Que for sunbeds at pool. 3 star hotel that needs a bit updating No lift to downstairs restaurant and stairs are very steep, you have to use side door outside but this not published. Lifts iffy ie left hand lift door runners jam. Hotel is on a slope, for any access to the marina. Which we were not advised about, not good for the elderly. Access ramps around hotel need to be improved urgently ie made wider. No hand rail at steps next to health spa building . Pool needs to be half smokers and half for non smokers Outside bar needs a no smoking zone area as people smoke with kids around and none smokers Apart from that we had a good break, this is a good hotel that could be a great hotel for not much more effort.

We were Bed and Breakfast... read more and breakfast was excellent. Huge choice and all very fresh.Yes you queue for pool but it’s not a big deal. The hotel is a few minutes walk from Marina so perfect location. Looking forward to our visit this year.

Never sunbed wars, there’s people queuing up until the pool opens at 09:30 but you will never struggle to find a good sunbed! Rooms lovely, aircon works magically as long as you have the balcony door closed. Balcony a very good suntrap. Spa facilities very good, Jaccuzi area very peaceful and private. Sauna very good. Pool clean. Food lovely. All in all: Will definitely be back. PS: Down the back there’s a gate that takes you directly to The Marina which we loved. Thank you very much Hotel Palmasol for a great stay
