Live the experience The Palm!

Kevin (26 years) is a young man who has stayed at the Fénix Torremolinos Hotel with his boy for 5 days. Read on to find out more about his experience!

Day 1: Arrival at Torremolinos

Our train arrived at Málaga station at midday, around 3:00 pm. When we got off the train, we ate some sandwiches that we had brought in our backpacks on a bench in the station. Miguel went to buy two bottles of cold water because we were very thirsty.

Once we had finished eating, we took the C1 train to Torremolinos. In 25 minutes, we had arrived. It was a 4-minute walk from the train to the hotel, so it was a very short trip. After checking in at the hotel and leaving the luggage in the room, we decided that it would be a good idea to take a dip in the swimming pool, which I loved it! As we saw that there was a Food Truck, we bought two cocktails: a San Francisco for Miguel and a Sex on the Beach for me. How good they were for us!

When we went up to the room, we took a shower and got ready. After dinner in the hotel restaurant and tasting dishes that we do not usually eat, we decided to go for a drink in La Nogalera, a district of Torremolinos with many bars, restaurants and shops.

Day 2: Relax and walk

Today we woke up and went for breakfast. There was a lot of variety! As it was a bit breezy, we took our breakfast outside and had breakfast with sea view. Then we went up to the room and changed because we had booked two massages at the Spa, which was so relaxing. We did not want it to end! Then we did the complete Spa tour: different water jets, sauna, Turkish bath and Jacuzzi to finish. It was a fantasy!

When we got back to the room, we took a shower and went to eat in the restaurant. Then we went back to the room because we did not want to go out at rush hour because of the heat. When we saw that we could be in the street, we decided to go to visit the Molino de Inca, which is a 25-minute walk away, and we thought it was super nice. We found it very beautiful and Miguel took many photos!

Afterwards, we went down to the Paseo Marítimo de Torremolinos, where we had dinner and a drink and then we went back to the hotel.

Day 3: Places to see in Torremolinos

Today in the morning, it was a bit difficult to get up because I was so comfortable in bed, but I remembered the good breakfast at the hotel and I got dressed in a hurry. After breakfast, we walked for 13 minutes to the Bajondillo beach where we had a swim and sunbathed. The time flew by! Then we went back to the hotel for a shower and lunch in the restaurant. Both Miguel and I were very hungry. When we finished, we decided to go to the room to take a nap because tonight we want to go out and party.

Once we woke up, we got dressed and went to visit the Casa de los Navajas, which is just a few meters from the hotel. The Fénix Torremolinos Hotel has two entrances, this one, which is also close to the beach, and the one from the reception, which is close to the famous shopping street of San Miguel. Therefore, after the Casa de los Navajas we entered the hotel and left through this entrance to go to the Calle de San Miguel, which we loved!

Then we went back to the hotel street where there was a bus stop that left us at Los Álamos, which was where Miguel and I wanted to have dinner and party. The night was the best!

Day 4: We visited Málaga

Today we woke up a bit late. Miguel thought the best thing to do was to order breakfast through the Room Service. The staff were very quick! Then we had a shower and got dressed because we wanted to go to Málaga for the day.

We took the train and in 1 hour and 20 minutes, we were there. During the day, we saw the Cathedral de la Encarnación de Málaga, the Alcazaba, the Piccaso Museum and Calle Larios. How beautiful everything looked! Miguel took many photos again. For lunch, we went to a restaurant and ate typical tapas of the area.

When we were tired, we decided to take the train back to the hotel. Thank goodness Miguel was watching our things because I fell asleep on the way! At the hotel, we had dinner and then we had a few drinks at the Chillout Bar The Cliff while live music was playing.

Day 5: Back to Torremolinos

As today is our last day at the hotel, we got up early to have breakfast and then had a last swim in the pool to leave with a good taste in our mouths. Then we went up to the room, finished closing our bags and went downstairs to check out at the reception.

We promise to come back to Torremolinos very soon!
